The house is beautiful and well appointed to meet guest needs. The lanai’s are delightful. Baby beach is very special with its protected reef. We had whales and turtles everyday. Mark and Kbm were great with communication. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again.

Property was perfect for our family gathering. Very spacious, inside and out, so plenty of room to spread out. Appreciated proximity to beach. Clean and well equipped. No problems. Would return.

The views and the beach are spectacular! This is a well-equipped older home that has a lot of character. No one in our group wanted to stay in the casita due to the musty smell. I’m sure a dehumidifier would fix that, but it was very strong.

It’s super convenient to town, stores and restaurants. Easy parking, lots of beach chairs/umbrellas and beach towels. It was nice there were so many touches like laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher soap and toilet paper! Great home for families.

Location of the property is fabulous! Direct beach access out the back door and walking distance to many restaurants and shopping in Lahina. The house configuration was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 2 kids. The pictures and property description were very accurate. Fabulous house in a perfect location. Beach is lovely. Walked on it every day. Saw turtles all the time, one seal, and one octopus! Walked to Lahaina for dinner which is awesome because parking is such a hassle there. Wanted to move in and never leave. Management is great. Could not ask for a better experience.

Fantastic vacation ! My wife and I took children and grandchildren to this wonderful home to celebrate 40th anniversary. On entering on day 1, we all gasped at the unbelievable view! So convenient to walk down to beach and back home for breaks from sun!

This was our 3rd stay at this beautiful house! Our family enjoyed every moment of this stay as much as our previous stays. The magic begins when we open the front door to the magnificent views! The location is perfect for snorkeling, turtle sightings, whale watching from the lanai and gorgeous sunsets.

The spacious layout of the house suits our family of 5 adults and a 5 year old grandson. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to prepare meals in with everyone gathered around. The lanai is our favorite spot for relaxing and star gazing. This house has everything we enjoy!

Mark is an excellent host! He is helpful and easy to communicate with. I’ve rented many properties and Mark makes it a pleasure to rent from him.

When we walked into the house, we were immediately amazed by the panoramic view of the ocean an the island of Lanai. The house had plenty of space for our family and was well equipped. If you are looking for super easy beach access, all you do is walk through the beautifully landscape backyard and you are on the beach. We saw multiple turtles swimming along the reefs and the snorkeling closer to the wave break was amazing! My special needs daughter went into the ocean for the first time in years since getting to the water was so easy and the water was clear and calm. We will definitely stay again!

We all enjoyed our time at this property. I have never witnessed so much whale activity in my life. A show with every home cooked meal 🙂 Any issues faced at the property were handled quickly. I would recommend this beautiful home.

This was the most incredible house on the most perfect beach. Our family ranged from 70 to 3 with 2 sets of grandparents and four adult children and significant others. Plenty of space to be together as well as have private spaces to just be alone. We had a blast snorkeling and whale watching and turtle watching. Can’t wait until we can go back.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! The house was everything we needed, the grounds were beautiful, and the beach was great for snorkeling and turtle watching. We really enjoyed watching whales from the lanai.

Easy and flawless!

We rented this house for a week getaway and it blew our, already high, expectations out of the water. The house was amazing and very clean and the property management company was very easy to talk to if needed. We enjoyed so much time spent on the beautiful patio and beach too. The water was amazing and is a great beach for kids! We also enjoyed the proximity to Front Street in Lahaina. We walked into town many night for dinner, drinks and shopping. Everyone in our party loved this place so much and will certainly be looking at this place again when we get another opportunity to travel to Maui.

House is beautiful and the location can’t be beat! Highly recommend for family vacations! You can’t go wrong renting this house. Baby beach is perfect for kids and adults to go snorkeling. Side and front patio perfect for visiting and relaxation.

Loved our time at this amazing property.! Kids were blown away when we walked through the door. House was very clean and the view out the windows was spectacular. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was a life saver! Best snorkeling on Maui just steps outside the back door. So many turtles! Only one minor issue: waking up to ants in the hallway on our first morning. We called and they had someone out there within a half hour to take care of it. The kids are already asking when we can go back again. This place will be our new home away from home when we visit Maui again.

Incredible location in Lahaina. Baby Beach was perfec;: 50 feet from the beach, fish and sea turtles while snorkeling, walking to Front St and the Old Lahaina Lu’au. Hope to return someday!

Let me just say, the photos did not do this house justice! I audibly gasped when I opened the front door and saw the waves through the windows at the back of the house!

The house was great for our family of 10 – though we did end up with one person sleeping on the couch and one on the chaise. The house was very clean. The location was ideal – on the water, within walking distance of Lahaina shopping district. They provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels – which was so helpful! The lanai with ample, comfortable seating was the favorite spot for all! The views from 4 of the bedrooms were amazing! The host was helpful and delightful. We called for a new gas tank for the grill and it was delivered within the hour. The L’Occitane products were a splendid touch.

A couple of surprises (not complaints, just to help others looking at the house).

There were several steps to the front of the house. We had one in a walker and we didn’t realize the number of steps into the house.

The separate guest unit has an external entrance (this wasn’t clear when we first booked it two years ago).

The only drawbacks (and they are minor) are that several of the sliding doors and windows were out of order, so we weren’t able to enjoy the crosswinds as much. (Having the AC was awesome though!) And the plants around the two narrow driveways, though beautiful, made it tough to get in and out of the cars at times.

If we are ever able to visit Maui again, we will definitely book this home! Highly recommended!!

Our family of 10 ranging from 17-65 years old had the most perfect vacation at the house. We had everything we needed. We even snorkeled and saw some Sea Turtles.

This is such a special property, perfect for families. It maintains the older Hawaiian charm in its style, and it’s so comfortable and convenient. The kitchen’s large countertop space and 2 refrigerators made it an amazing space to cook our fresh catches, and the house has all the beach supplies you need for a great day on the sand. I appreciated the owner’s timely communication prior to our arrival and upon check in. We had a small issue with the apartment refrigerator not cooling, and a maintenance guy was sent out the very next morning to fix it. The only thing I will mention that could’ve been improved is that the property shows a bit of age (comes with the Hawaiian charm!). There have been some updates, but the overall feel of the house is a bit dated. It certainly doesn’t take away from the amazing time we had there, though! We would definitely stay again.

House is in a perfect location, walk to town. Loved all the indoor seating for our large family group. Being on baby beach was awesome. If you want to do much cooking, kitchen was a little lacking on utensils. The downstairs master bath could use an update. And be aware that the 5th bedroom is separated from the rest of the house. But even being an older home, it’s impressive, you won’t be disappointed!

After 7 days, no one was ready to go home! Ages 6 to 78 our family loved this house and direct access to Baby beach. Everyone was out snorkeling early AM even on our last day! We went home with wet swimsuits, dozens of pictures of sunsets, sunrises, low tide, and fish. The beautiful view of the water mesmerized everyone. The beds were comfortable, air conditioning welcomed, round dinning table a treat, lush landscaping a plus and more than enough beach towels, beach chairs, and patio furniture. If we didn’t have jobs and school, we’d go back in the fall.

House was perfect, location was great. Property management was very easy to communicate with.

This property is just perfect for large families. Lots of space inside and the outside space to amazing! We could snorkel right in back of house even saw turtles. Would will definitely be back!

Somethings are dated but, overall a perfect place to stay. We swam with turtles everyday, just out the back door. You can walk to town for entertainment and excursions.

This is our second time staying here and it’s still incredible. You can’t beat the view. The location is perfect. And the house is still clean and in great shape. No complaints at all!!! We will stay here again for sure.

I would give our experience with booking and staying at Baby Beach 5 stars all around. And if it was possible I would have rated the location even higher. I can’t imagine a more perfect location for us to have stayed to celebrate our 40th anniversary with the whole family. We could easily have just stayed on property without side excursions and had a wonderful time. We were able to snorkel ( seeing multiple sea turtles and fish) and whale watch (seeing whales everyday including two instances where multiple whales shot completely out of the water and put on a terrific show) right from the beach in front of the house. In addition to the great beach we thoroughly enjoyed waking up each morning to watch the beautiful dawn over Lahaina harbor and returning to the patio in the evening to catch sunset from the spacious and well appointed patio. The house had ample room and amenities to accommodate game playing, cooking, eating and just hanging out. We had a fabulous time. Our 4 year old grandson is already asking “how many sleeps till we come back?” Good question. We would love to come again!!!

This house is amazing! The location doesn’t get any better than having a house and gated yard ON the beach. With 3 young kids, we appreciated the space both inside and outside this house. We spent hours on the beach and in the yard/on the large patio. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone as well as enough space for my husband to work away from the noise. It was very clean, well appointed, and close enough to walk into Lahaina for food or treats. We can’t wait to come back here for another great family vacation!

Beyond our expectations! This home sits close to water and each room has a spectacular ocean view! The clean, open floor plan provided guests with optimal space to spread out and relax. I can’t imagine staying any where else.

You can’t stay at a better location!!! The house is breathtaking, every room boosts great view with a huge living area for family and friends to be together. Just steps from the beach and with all of the sand toys you could hope for.

Downtown Maui is a short walk from the house, giving you access to everything from shopping to restaurants!

Staying here truly felt like Paradise!

This house is stunning–even nicer than advertised. The manager was friendly and accommodating. The place is perfectly maintained. Beautiful art work. Spent a lot of time outside enjoying the extra-comfortable outdoor furniture and the beautiful, ever-changing view of the ocean. Cooking for our group was easy in the large kitchen. Baby Beach is perfect, especially for someone learning to snorkel. Town is an easy walk with lots of shops and restaurants to explore. (We especially enjoyed the Warren & Annebelle’s magic show.) I’ll definitely recommend this home to my friends.

This was the second time that we have stayed at the property and it was fantastic as always. The short walk through the backyard to the beach is one of my favorite features of the place. The beach (Baby Beach) is perfect for small children because there are no waves to knock them over. The coral is teaming with fish of all colors and even the turtles like to sometimes hang out there and feed as well. We can’t wait to get back to Maui and to this house.

As a Physician in an Intensive Care Unit, this beautiful home was exactly what my family and I needed to relax and unwind during our vacation. The house has an incredible, unobstructed sunset views of Lanai and the beach access is extremely convenient. The kitchen and patio have every amenity available for relaxing meals at home but Lahaina is just a short walk away with many delicious restaurant options if you feel like going out.

Our family had never been able to enjoy a vacation together–schedules, school…there was always an excuse. But, when we found this property with enough space to accommodate everyone and so conveniently located to Lahaina and….most importantly, Baby Beach, everyone seemed to find a way to make time for our family!

It was easy to make arrangements and we were in touch with the property manager to arrange opening of the home and receiving our keys. He was VERY responsive when we called on Super Bowl Sunday to let him know that propane was need in the BBQ; someone was there within the hour to remedy our situation.

The home is beyond description: spacious, beautifully decorated, well-equipped and there are no words to describe the magnificent view and perfect location on a quiet cul-de-sac with beach access from the yard.

The location, within walking distance to Lahaina and fabulous restaurants and right on Baby Beach, is outstanding perk.

There was plenty of room for our three families–room to be together and plenty of room for private reflection. We spent more time outdoors enjoying the views, the beach and outdoor meals. We are so grateful to have enjoyed this magnificent home and our relaxing family time.

The location cannot be beat. The back yard opens directly onto a beautiful, sandy, kid-friendly beach. A short walk to Lahaina Town, cannery mall (safeway, drugstore), and many restaurants and shops. The perfect combination of quiet and yet still close to everything. This is a perfect rental home for two families with young kids. Having the four bedrooms in the house was a good amount of space for the families and kids, and the external “mother-in-law suite” was a great private space for the childcare provider we traveled with. We expect to stay on this property again.

Amazing house and location! Unbelievable sunsets and within walking distance of Lahaina shops and restaurants. KBM did an outstanding job making sure our stay was a wonderful experience! We’ll definitely be staying hear again the next time we’re in Maui.

Our stay at the Kai Pali house on Baby Beach was so welcoming and comfortable every day…whether waking at dawn for a swim and watching the sun rise over the mountains, or sitting on the lanai as the sun eased over the island of Lanai, our time was as close to perfect as you can get!!!

We were so blessed to be able to stay in such a wonderful home right on the beach! Baby Beach in LaHaina, Maui. This home is a lovely two story home with a huge dining room and living room with views towards Lanai. The view is great looking towards lanai. The best snorkeling right in front of the home. We saw lots of fish, an eel, and got to swim with a turtle right in front of the house! The most gorgeous sunsets from the backyard. Lots of outside seating and a large yard which is beautifully landscaped. We BBQ’d and ate all meals outside enjoying the beauty and tropical bird sounds and tradewinds.

Management company left plenty of paper goods to get us started and sundries too. Such a nice touch. So hard to leave and come home.

We stayed here before in the spring 5 years ago and could even see whales from home.

This home is perfect for any type of vacation whether it be romantic getaway or for families with kids. This house was huge! The beautiful relaxing kid friendly beach is just a 15 step walk down the grass off the porch. There is almost no need for a car if your plans stay around Lahina, just about everything you could want is within walking distance. The fully furnished kitchen was very convenient and helped us save a lot of money. We spent many nights walking out to town getting ice cream. We were informed that they had recently installed a brand new air conditioning system, it worked fantastic, kept the entire house very cool. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to experience a very relaxing laid back vacation.

This home has one of the best locations and views in West Maui and being able to walk out the beach was a dream come true! Booking through KBM was very easy and they made our stay very enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!

What a wonderful home and an incredible location. Waking up each morning to beautiful sunrises and walking out the door and onto the beach was an incredible experience and then repeating it again at night…the best vacation our family has ever had. We had 9 people and plenty of space for all of us. Baby beach is perfect for all ages. Swimming, paddle boarding, snorkeling are right at your doorstep. The week was particularly hot and humid so we were very thankful for the air conditioning to take off the bite of the heat!! On top of all of that you are a short walk into Lahaina and all that Lahaina has to offer. We highly recommend this home and location!!

We had a wonderful vacation at Baby Beach. The view sitting on the deck can not be beat! We had a group of 11, kids shared rooms, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location, walking to Lahaina, and driving to other West Maui locations was perfect. Only downside was the lack of air-conditioning. There were some nights where the upstairs rooms were warm, even with all the windows open. The beach is calm and great for young ones. For the older kids, rent snorkel equipment and they can discover the reef. We also rented SUP and used them for a few days at Baby Beach. We went to other beaches for boogie boarding and surfing. LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

This house will provide you with everything you need and want for a perfect Hawaiian vacation. It is very beautiful, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped and maintained, and just 2 blocks away from downtown Lahaina (which has restaurants, event planners, activities, shops, etc.). I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to spend time in Hawaii!

This house is amazing! When you open the front door, you are immediately greeted with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Baby Beach is a few steps from the back door and is a great beach for swimming and snorkeling. You can see turtles and whales from the porch! The plants on the property are so beautiful as well. It definitely feels like a little slice of heaven.

Also, the location of this house in unbeatable. Not only do you have extremely easy access to an amazing beach, it is walking distance to all of the wonderful shops and places to eat in Lahaina. Very convenient!

The house is spacious and welcoming. It was so nice to be able to spread our stuff out and have enough room for everyone. We truly felt like we were in a tropical paradise. It was the perfect place to relax and have some adventures.

When you enter this amazing old Hawaiian home you are hit with the most AMAZING ocean views. Every window is just looking out at the ocean. This is what you expect when you are in Hawaii. Great family house with everything you need to not have to leave for anything(maybe for more beer and margarita mix). There are beach chairs, large cooler, boogie boards to use. We also rented paddle boards from 808 Boards which were perfect for here. You can walk to Aloha Mix Plate for some good local food. Highly recommend this spot for your family vacation.

This house has an unbeatable location! Baby Beach is steps outside the back doors and the views are breathtaking. We watched dolphins and whales out in the water while eating breakfast on the porch, did morning walks on the beach, afternoon snorkeling while the baby napped, and watched amazing sunsets from the yard before walking into town (Lahaina) for dinners (an easy walk with or without a stroller). All of this was possible because of such an amazing location!

We came here with our small children (ages 1 and 4) and the setup was great. Having a full functional kitchen and plenty of grass and patio area to play on outside (in addition to the beach) was exactly what we wanted for our vacation. We spent most of our time outside, but the interior of the house was exactly as we expected and perfect with the master bedroom + 2 bedrooms upstairs so each child had their own room. We also enjoyed sitting on the master bedroom lanai after the kids were in asleep. This was a great trip and we can’t wait to return to this house in the future!

This property has incredible views from the moment you walk in! Completely breathtaking! Amenities galore. Modern, cozy and authentic Hawaiian feel with comfortable beds (which is a must for me personally), CLEAN, inviting and a refreshing place for the entire family!!! It has high vaulted ceilings which makes a huge home seem even that much grandeur. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook your best meal and a great outdoor BBQ.

Each bedroom has a balcony in which to catch a perfect morning sunrise while sipping coffee, or a romantic sunset view. Being able to step from your house which has a gorgeous yard with lush vegetation directly to Baby Beach is EXTREMELY rare. The beach is perfect for young families who love snorkeling, paddle boarding (which you can rent minutes from the property), or simply love to build sandcastles and sunbathe. A beautiful walk to downtown Lahaina where you will find great restaurants and quality shopping! It’s a perfect picture of a relaxing Hawaiian vacation. My favorite vacation spot to date!

This was our first real vacation in many years and the first time we brought our children to Hawaii. We knew Baby Beach would be ideal for the kiddos because of the great snorkeling and gentle waves. If you’re looking for a quiet beach that’s perfect for playing in the water, it doesn’t get any better than this. The location is walking distance to Old Lahaina, but it’s so self-contained, you may not want to leave.

The house itself is a mix of rustic Hawaiian, family friendly and luxury. The place is huge and easily accommodated our family of 5 plus Grandma and Grandpa. The wifi worked great and there’s plenty of TVs (even an AppleTV), but we hardly ever turned them on. We cooked a lot at home and just enjoyed the amazing views and warm breeze. The kids loved the games and paddle boarding. We saw the volcano, zip-lined, rode horses and went to a some other beaches, but the best part of our trip was just hanging out as a family in this beautiful home and dipping in the ocean whenever we felt like it. We’ll be back.

This was the perfect home for our Hawaiian vacation. Myself, my husband, 3 adult sons and their partners all were very comfortable with enough privacy in this beautifully furnished home. The kitchen was fabulous and allowed us to do most of our eating at home. I would highly recommend it to all families with either young children or all adults.

From the very start of the process of working with the Stevens family thru VRBO, it was the most stress free process I have ever encountered. The home was beautiful, comfortable and inviting. The bedrooms were wonderfully large and quiet.. Baby Beach was the perfect location for my small grandchildren to play in the sand and water, as well as snorkeling for the adults. The home was located close to Whaler’s village so walking was never an issue, wonderful food,shops for clothing or whatever you forgot at home. The largest Banyon Tree in the heart of LaHaina was quite spectacular. Whale watching is a must saw about 20 and one swam close to the boat. I can’t say enough about the experience of the Stevens home in Maui, most likely the best I have ever had. I would definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to come back in a few years.

We had a amazing time at this property. There were 7 adults and 4 children under the age of 4. The house was a perfect size to accommodate everyone even when we all got trapped inside do to a rain storm for a few hours. The bikes were a blast for everyone to go grocery shopping and grab some refreshments for the beach, we definitely didn’t need to rent a car. The beach is perfect, especially for the kids and it is a great distance from the house as you don’t need to pack up for the day to go to the beach, you just went to the beach when you felt like it!

Our family had the pleasure of staying in this home with our two small children and we could not have been more happy with the location, accommodations & overall experience. We spent each our days on the expansive back patio, watching whales, playing in the yard, digging in the sand, or swimming in the ocean. The beach literally touches the beautifully-landscaped backyard and it is protected by a coral reef, which means that the water is very calm and safe for small children.

The sweeping views throughout the house, as well as the beautiful artwork & furnishings helped make it a vacation we will not forget. The house is within walking-distance to Lahaina and there are a few grocery stores nearby too. This helped make it easy to go out to eat or to prepare meals at home. The full-sized washer and dryer was helpful as well and made packing for our extended vacation much more simple.

We had the pleasure of meeting the property manager, cleaning staff, and landscaping crew. Each was very helpful, accommodating and made us feel at-home.

We cannot say enough about much we enjoyed our time at this home and are confident that other travelers would as well.

We had the opportunity to stay at this house as a family and it was perfect. My daughter (2.5 years old) loves the beach and this house is directly on Baby Beach. It was perfect because we could come and go from the beach multiple times per day without the hassle of hauling chairs, toys, towels, etc. that’s so difficult with young children. Being able to spend time on the large patio and cooking here and then eating meals outside while overlooking the ocean (a better view than most Lahaina restaurants!) was exactly what we wanted, and provided us the ability to control our food choices much better than having to eat each meal at a restaurant. Having a washer and dryer in a separate laundry room was also very convenient for us.

The house was clean and had more than enough space to accommodate all our needs – complete with ocean views and being able to hear the ocean from the master bed. We hope to return to this wonderful home for another beach vacation someday!

Our stay at this Maui home was our best vacation ever! The home and vacation met our expectations above and beyond. This ocean front home had every imaginable amenity including amazing sunsets. It was very neat, clean and well prepared for our arrival. We loved the walking distance to stores and restaurants. We highly recommend this lovely home and would definitely return!!

This home is above and beyond anything we had imagined. Located right on the beach with a back yard. Gorgeous views and sunsets. Private patio where we ate our meals looking towards Lanai. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Laundry room and two garages. We could see whales from the patio in the distance towards Lanai. House is within walking distance to downtown Lahaina and also shopping, grocery store, etc. Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I enjoyed two weeks in this beautiful home in the fall of 2012 (we couldn’t put that timeframe into the above “Date Of Arrival” box, so we put the earliest date we could: January 3, 2013). The two of us “rattled around” a bit as this home would accommodate a large group. However, we never felt like we were in a “hotel” or sterile environment even though the place is large: we picked one bedroom, cooked in the kitchen, ate most meals on the side patio, relaxed in the great room, and read on the beach-facing patio. Of course, we reveled in the gorgeous sunsets every evening! We walked the literal dozen feet from the yard to Baby Beach and enjoyed the sand, water, and watching families with their children. We also walked up and down the beach on numerous occasions.

The listing description and photos are accurate, but don’t do justice to this home – they can’t project the comfort and warmth, nor the sweep of things: the water, trees, beach, and the house itself. The yard contains beautiful tropical foliage – sights and fragrances we hadn’t met before. The house is, of course, clean and well maintained, but magical in its beauty; we highly recommend a stay here.

Stores and restaurants in busy Lahaina are a short walk away; if you drive, be prepared to look for parking. Restaurants have their ups and downs, so just look up their current reviews (we especially enjoyed Kimo’s when we were there).

While the pictures are beautiful, they don’t adequately convey the feeling you have when you first walk in the front door of this beautiful home. The first think you see are huge floor to ceiling windows that make you feel as if the house is right in the Pacific Ocean!

Sunsets are unbelievable as is the private beach, quietness of the neighborhood, close proximity to restaurants, shopping, etc. My family really didn’t need a car unless we wanted to scout around the island. I would recommend this house for anyone needing to get away from the rat race and just relax and enjoy the beach right outside your door. It doesn’t get any better.
